I’m an architect turned architectural photographer, driven by an insatiable curiosity for the relationship between space, light, material, and the way we experience the built environment.
My relationship with architecture began through the discipline of drawing, proportion, material, and space. Over time, however, I found myself equally fascinated by the fleeting qualities that drawings could not fully capture the way light transforms a surface, how a material ages, the atmosphere of a room at a particular hour, or the quiet relationship between a building and its surroundings.
Photography became my way of exploring these nuances.
What began as a curiosity gradually evolved into a practice of observing and interpreting the built environment through the lens. Today, through PS Archigraphs, I work with architects, interior designers, landscape designers, and hospitality brands to create photographs that go beyond documentation and engage with the character and intent of a space.
My architectural background gives me an inherent sensitivity to the intentions behind a design. It allows me to engage with a project not merely as an image-maker, but as someone who understands the thought process, and decisions that shape the built environment. At the same time, photography has taught me to step away from the drawing and experience architecture intuitively to observe, wait, and allow the space to reveal itself.
I believe every project carries its own visual language. My role is not to impose one, but to discover it.
Through PS Archigraphs, I seek to create images that are considered yet natural, precise yet evocative, photographs that communicate not only how a space looks, but something of how it feels to inhabit it.
Ultimately, I photograph architecture because I believe spaces have a life beyond their physical form. They hold ideas, memories, materials, light, and human experiences.
My intention is to preserve a glimpse of that life in a frame.
